How long has Raintree Landscaping been in business?

Raintree Landscaping opened its doors in 1979 after Steve Christenesn its founder and owner graduated from Utah State University with a BS degree in Ornamental Horticulture. We have been landscaping in St. George and the surrounding areas since that time.

Do you accept credit cards?

Yes, we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

Are you licensed and do you carry insurance?

Yes, We are licensed by the States of Utah and Nevada and carry all required workers compensation, liability insurance. We are also bond-able if that kind of insurance is needed.

Do you use E-verify to insure that your employees are legal workers?

Yes, an e-verify number can be given at your request.

Is your work guaranteed?

Yes, all plants and trees for 90 days as long as you have an automatic sprinkler system. All sprinklers and other materials(non living) for a year.

How often should I water my new seeded or sodded lawn?

As often as it takes to keep the sod or ground continually moist, for a period of about 2 weeks. This is usually 2-3 start times in the summer for 5-15 minutes depending on the type of sprinkler heads you have installed.

How much does it cost to install sod or hydroseeding?

Sod is usually about 40 to 50 cents a square foot and hydroseeding is 10-12 cents a square foot, depending on how much of an area you have.

When is the best times to plant trees and shrubs?

Optimally in the spring and the fall, but they can be planted anytime as long as there is sufficient water to keep them alive.

What is diamond block wall?

It is a cement block material that is stacked to construct a retaining wall. There are various sizes and styles.

What are pavers?

They are small brick sized block that is used to make patios, driveways and sidewalks. They come in all shapes and sizes and are laid on the ground and filled with sand between to make a pavement.

What is the best source for good local landscape information?
